Phone Number
The player uses elimination to guess a secret Phone Number. The tough yet fun game is played online or by mobile app.
Like the old word game "Mastermind," one player writes a concealed code and the other tries to guess it by making repeated efforts and receiving feedback.
A phone number requires guessing a 5-digit number. Players can submit a 5-number word per attempt. Game feedback is colored with highlights after each attempt. A number that is not underlined is not in the secret word. Yellow-highlighted numbers are part of the secret word in a different position. Green highlights indicate that a number is in the hidden word and in the right place.
The player uses feedback from previous tries to make educated guesses until they find the secret word. Guessing the secret phone number wins the game.
One play per day is allowed in the timed game. The player can compete with others to guess the secret phone number the fastest and share their score. The game is tough but exciting and can occupy players of all ages for hours.
How to Play Phone Numble
Rules for phone numbers:
- The phone number is five-digit.
- Numbers can repeat digits.
- The game or app generates a random number that all players use daily.
- The player is usually given 5–10 chances to guess the secret phone number.
- The player must enter a five-number word each time.
- As mentioned in the last response, the game highlights word numbers after each attempt.
