Subwaydle
The "Subwaydle" web browser game allows players six chances to estimate how long it would take to go on the subway, taking into account the possibility of making two transfers along the way. In the same spirit as Wordle, Subwaydle necessitates that every single guess be an actual word. It will be shown in gray if a rail line is not on the route; it will be shown in yellow if it is on the route but is now in the wrong position; and it will be shown in green if it is the appropriate line and is in the appropriate spot. There is no such thing as a journey that does not require at least one pit stop at a metro bar.
The Riddle Regarding the Game's Regulations
Both Wordle and Subwaydle are examples of word games that follow largely the same set of guidelines. There is a set route that runs between two of the 472 stations that make up the subway system on a daily basis. This route is called the "predetermined path." For instance, in the conundrum that was published on Friday, players needed to take two separate forms of transportation in order to get from Jefferson Avenue to Wall Street. You will need to make preparations for a journey that will require you to take three trains and change trains twice in order to get from one train to the next. Regardless of how efficient the route may be, it must be able to physically function within the confines of the subway system in order to be considered an option. Because of this, there will be no opportunities for bus connections or transfers that take place outside of the station.
Similar to Wordle, as you make a guess, the tiles will change color to provide you with hints before you make the next one. In addition to this, the puzzles that are played during the week are based on the train timetables that are in effect during the middle of the day, whereas the puzzles that are played on the weekends are based on the train timetables that are in effect for the weekend. You have a total of six different options open to you to choose from.
